Southern Star AWWA Donation Centre Akshaypatra was commissioned at Maitri Shopping Complex, Camp, Pune on 27 Feb 2023. This noble initiative has been envisioned by Southern Command Army Commander Lt Gen Ajai Kumar Singh and implemented under the aegis of Southern Star Army Wives Welfare Association. Items ranging from clothes and household items to food items can now be donated by volunteers to Akshaypatra. Akshaypatra/ Donation hubs have been est at all fmn to encourage all ranks and their families to donate useful items for the orphanage and old age homes.
